Makaton Taster Session
£20 per person
A fun and accessible introduction to Makaton, giving participants the opportunity to learn what Makaton is, how it supports communication and how signs and symbols can be used alongside speech. Participants will learn a selection of useful signs and have plenty of opportunities to practise them in a relaxed, interactive session.
All participants will receive a handout of all of the signs and symbols covered, as well as a certificate on completion.
Makaton Level 1 Workshop
£95 per person
An introduction to using Makaton signs and symbols to support everyday communication. Participants learn a core vocabulary of signs and symbols, alongside practical strategies for using Makaton with children and adults in real-life situations. The workshop is interactive and focuses on building confidence in using Makaton alongside spoken language.
All participants will receive a large training manual with all of the signs, symbols and presentations covered, as well as a certificate on completion.
Makaton Level 2 Workshop
£95 per person
Building on the skills developed in Level 1, this workshop introduces a wider range of Makaton vocabulary and develops participants’ confidence and fluency in using signs and symbols. Participants explore how to use Makaton more effectively to support communication, understanding and participation in everyday interactions.
All participants will receive a large training manual with all of the signs, symbols and presentations covered, as well as a certificate on completion.
